- TheGEN 3 can be run on “Auto” mode; if the mode is set to "Auto"the unitwill cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperaturesetting. Itis also equipped with a “HIGH” mode; if the mode is set to"High" theunit will stay on Full power at the highest heat setting andkeepheating. It will not cycle off on "High" mode.
- Whenthe GEN 3 is set on the “Auto” mode and cycling off and on, ithas beenequipped with an Energy Savings feature. The unit will run onfullpower until it gets to within 2 degrees of the desired temperature.Atthis point it will automatically go into an energy savings modewhichshuts down 2 of the heating elements and lowers the fan speed.Notonly will this save energy, it also keeps the room temperaturecloserto the desired temperature. If the room temperature should fallbelow2 degrees the unit will return to the full power mode until thedesiredtemperature is reached again.
